What is OSINT?

O.S.I.N.T. stands for Open-Source Intelligence Techniques. OSINT is described several different ways. According to Wikipedia OSINT is defined as:

“Open-source intelligence is the collection and analysis of data gathered from open sources to produce actionable intelligence. OSINT is primarily used in national security, law enforcement, and business intelligence functions and is of value to analysts who use non-sensitive intelligence in answering classified, unclassified, or proprietary intelligence requirements across the previous intelligence disciplines.”

What does OSINT mean in layman terms?

OSINT can be simplified as utilizing social media sites, search engines, locate people services and research tools, much like what is used in our Background Checks, to locate individuals. Utilizing open-source applications like Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Telegram and Dark Web websites and search engines that are accessible to the general public. - * Mystery Shopper – $58 Per Hour
  - - Investigate customer service and employee honesty at a business. This service can save a company’s profits, brand and that business is being conducted legally by your staff. We provide a realistic and unbiased prospective from a customer’s perspective on how your company is doing.

- License Verification Check – $150
  - - Verify a valid license exists for an individual or business. This can be a driver’s license, medical license etc.

- Online Investigation – $150
  - - We utilize the latest OSINT techniques to deep dive into an individual’s online presence.

- * Witness/Subject Interview – $58 Per Hour
  - - With specialty training and certification by Wicklander-Zulawski and Humintell, you can be assured that the interview will be complete and thorough. This covers interviews for witnesses, subjects, pre-employment background checks where interviews are required.

- * Corporate Investigations – $58 Per Hour
  - - Some corporate investigations are limited in what they can do. However, we are here to help. With 15 years of corporate investigative experience, there’s nothing we haven’t seen and resolved or solved. Corporate fraud is harmful to both the company and the brand.

- * Special Investigations – $58 Per Hour
  - - Special investigations can range from following employees to determine if they are stealing or committing fraud to workman’s comp claims and verification, and more.

* Some items require a retainer and/or a 4-hour minimum charge for select services.
